About Us
Sargam was launched on 18th June 2006 in Adelaide, South Australia, to provide a platform through which young to old of the Indian community may collaboratively explore and develop artistic insights and gifts in the art of music, dance and drama. Sargam is committed to encourage programs of special interest to the Indian community and to promote healthy interaction and unity among the different Indian cultural groups. The creation of Sargam was seen as a "Breath of fresh Air" and was commended and applauded by the most Indian community members.
Our mission is to espouse, enjoy and rejoice the radiant spirit of India. Sargam aspires to be involved with the musical and cultural activities relevant to performing Arts and to showcase musical talents by our local jubilant Artists.
